A Look Back and a Look Ahead: Trellis Marketing’s Reflection on 2025 and Vision for 2026

As we wrap up 2025 and look toward 2026, I’ve spent a lot of time reflecting.

Trellis Marketing has been blessed in ways I never want to take for granted. We have grown tremendously, but more importantly, we’ve grown with purpose.

At the beginning of the year, we set three simple but powerful goals.

1. Treat every client like they’re our first.
2.
Be profitable so we can serve well.
3.
Take care of each other.

We are far from perfect, but we did our best to keep these goals in front of us every day.
They became our compass.
They shaped our decisions.
They reminded us what really matters.

Looking Back With Gratitude

This year was filled with milestone moments. We partnered with incredible businesses across Western Kentucky and beyond. We helped business owners clarify their story, build real systems, and create strategies that finally gave them predictable results.

I am humbled every time a business trusts us with their marketing. I know how much courage it takes to hand over something that important.

Thank you for trusting our team.

Looking Ahead to 2026

As we look into 2026, I believe small businesses are about to experience one of the most transformational seasons in modern marketing and technology.

And no, I’m not talking about replacing people.
I’m talking about empowering them.

AI, when used the right way, doesn’t replace human creativity. It multiplies it.
It gives us back time.
It helps us work smarter.
It allows us to focus on serving people, not doing busywork.

In 2026, Trellis will continue to lean even deeper into the strengths that make marketing actually work:

Story. Systems. Strategy.

When you combine a clear message, a repeatable plan, and the right technology, you unlock growth that is both sustainable and life-giving (and life-changing for both owners and their customers).

That’s where we’re headed.

Grateful for the Trellis Team

I could not do any of this without the team beside me every day. The people at Trellis are the heart of this company. They show up, they take ownership, and they care about our clients.

They are the reason Trellis has grown.
They are the reason our clients stay.

I’m also incredibly thankful for our extended team of contractors located all across the country. Many of them are long-time friends. They are the quiet, steady, incredibly talented people who make everything we do possible. They are the secret sauce behind Trellis’ success.

Thankful for My Family

I could not do this work without the support of the people I love most.
Monica, Kilee (19), Josiah (16), and Levi (10), thank you for your patience, your encouragement, and your belief in me. You hold up more than you know. I am grateful every day for the gift of being your husband and dad.

Most of All, I’m Thankful to Jesus

I want to close with the foundation of everything I believe.

Scripture says in Romans 5:8, “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” That truth never gets old. It never loses its power. And during the Christmas season, we are reminded of the miracle that Jesus chose to come to earth. He came as a baby, lived a perfect life, and died a death we deserved so that we could have a restored relationship with Him and spend eternity with Him in heaven.

My hope and prayer is that everything we do at Trellis reflects that grace and serves others with the same love we have received.

Here’s to 2026

Thank you for being part of this journey.
Thank you for trusting us with your business.
Thank you for allowing me to lead a team I’m so proud of.

Trellis Marketing is excited for what’s ahead, and we are honored to walk into 2026 with you.

Here’s to the year behind us and the one ahead.

With gratitude,
Scott
